A couple (Ok, several) steps back from my goals…


sadface.gifSorry for the lack of updates, I spent the last week or so at DisneyWorld and visiting my parents. Although I was hoping that this would mean a lot of walking (and it did), this also meant eating out 3 meals a day. at DisneyWorld. My breakfast was either something with eggs and fried potatoes or a bagel with cream cheese. Lunch was something fast-foody. Dinner was at a sit-down place complete with salad, appetizer, and entree. One place involved milkshakes with free refills. Another, buffet-style. Disney ice cream bars beckoned from every “street” corner. Not good.

My weight now: 220 lbs. I gained 7 lbs in 13 days! Excuse me while I bow my head in shame.

    7 Lbs sounds like water weight. Cut salt. Are you a soda drinker?
    If you have to have soda, drink Diet Rite - no caffeine or salt. Taste okay too.

    Diet or no diet - the only sure fire way to lose weight is to EXCERCISE. As long as you eating okay - and get atleast 30 minutes of sustained cardio a day - you will acheive your goal weight in no time.

    Thanks for the tips! I did drink a ton of sweet iced tea. I can’t find it on the west coast, and the Southerners out there know that you can’t just add sugar packets to unsweetened iced tea. Mmm… sweet tea.
