I pushed myself extra hard today, in preparation for my weigh-in tomorrow. Ok, I admit it - I cheated and weighed myself today: 211 lbs. I really wanted to lose another pound this week, I don’t know if it will have overnight (literally). But we’ll see. But man am I sore! My quads are really burning. My friend remarked that muscle soreness means you made little tears in your muscle fibers, and after they heal you’ll be stronger than before, like calluses on your hand. Hmm, I never thought of that way, I thought it just lactic acid build-up. I’ll have to ask one of the personal trainers guys next time I go. I feel like the Six Million Dollar Man…
